You’ve built a life.
Now come alive.

What aliveness actually is

Aliveness is quieter than excitement. The dopamine of a new deal, the adrenaline of a milestone: those are real, and they pass. Aliveness is being fully here, in your own life.

It is the moment something inside you unclenches: when you stop performing and start existing, when a conversation goes somewhere unexpected and real.

Put plainly: each time you see something in yourself you could not see before, the unconscious gets a little smaller, and you get a little larger. That is the aliveness journey.

It completes what got you here: depth added to capability, presence added to intelligence.

The Framing

The first mountain gave you success. The second offers depth.

It was a beautiful climb. Goals set. Companies built. Families funded. Problems worth solving.

And then, often quietly, often after hours, something else begins to speak. A loosening. A deeper question, arriving on its own: what is alive in me now?

Between the two mountains lies what I call the wilderness: the passage from one to the other. The first mountain was about rising. The second is about depth: the same life, seen wider.

Achievement Aliveness the wilderness
Achievement Aliveness the wilderness the light is in you

The Light

The light is already in you.

My name means light. I’ve come to read it as a promise about you: the light is already there, and the work is to make it steady enough to see.

Between the life you’ve built and the one asking to emerge lies the wilderness: the place where old frameworks soften and a truer compass takes over. The wilderness is the passage. It asks for company: someone willing to stay in the open with you, and to let the light arrive in its own time.

So my work is to build a safe, professional structure in which you become your own guide.

What waits on the other side: clarity born of depth, and courage that comes from being fully seen.

Who I am

A clinical health psychologist, where performance meets depth.

I have brought this work to executive teams, international companies and families, on three continents.

My tools come from three sources: science, the body, and ceremony, by which I mean structured, embodied experience that helps change actually land. That range is the point. Depth is not the opposite of discipline; the two travel together, or neither arrives.

What leaders say

What sets Loes apart is the combination of a structured, deeply analytical mind and real emotional depth and warmth. She reaches you both intellectually and at a soul level, creating the openness that real inner work requires — and the result is real growth, real insight, and a lot of genuine joy.
Thorsten Schatz Thorsten Schatz Group CFO & Managing Director, neeyo
“Loes is a trusted guide in a personal journey of discovery and transformation.”
Dennis Shen Founder & Director, ACME Advisors
She helped me see that scaling is never just a business challenge — it’s personal too: staying true to your direction while letting go of what worked yesterday before it holds you back tomorrow. Working with Loes doesn’t just change how you lead your business — it changes how you lead yourself.
Joeri ter Beek Joeri ter Beek Managing Director, IPV Data
She led our group with the lightest touch imaginable, yet her energetic field was unmistakably strong; you felt held before you understood why. Loes doesn’t just facilitate a retreat; she opens a door most of us didn’t know was there.
Alicia Yi Alicia Yi Group Executive Advisor, EMA Partners
“Loes held the space so gently that we went deep within very quickly, and we met parts of ourselves that we had been avoiding.”
Valentina Crombach-Garay Valentina Crombach-Garay Strategic Membership Programs Manager (EMEA), YPO
Loes managed to pull us out of our comfort zone as a management team and create an atmosphere in which we dared to be vulnerable. Because of that, we got to know each other’s backgrounds better, developed more understanding for one another, and as a team were able to strengthen each other far more effectively.
Linda Faassen Linda Faassen CFO, Recharge
Loes has a very unique and powerful combination of competence (deep psychological expertise), passion that comes from her heart, and a structured mind/approach that allows for uncommon results and transformations to be achieved both at the personal level and the group or team level. One of Loes’s greatest gifts is her ability to create a space where people feel safe, truly seen, and able to discover their own answers. She notices what remains unspoken, subtle, or not yet fully conscious — often the very things that hold the key to genuine change.
Małgorzata Czernecka Małgorzata Czernecka CEO, Human Power
There was a real sense of togetherness in the room, yet each of us still had space to be fully ourselves. Loes guided the group’s energy with such care that it often felt almost sacred — and throughout, I could feel her genuine presence, empathy, and attentiveness toward each of us.
Ibrahim Slaoui Ibrahim Slaoui President, Mafoder Group

My Methodology: The Four Passages

One arc, walked with everyone I work with

One belief holds all of it: the deepest change happens when we stop trying to fix the surface, and start working with what is underneath.

We don’t choose one passage. We walk all four, in order, at the pace your life is asking. It is old work: adult development, the Hero’s Journey, by many names.

Depth Trust Transformation Belonging
01

Depth

Meeting what’s underneath

Beyond the “Me”.

Beneath the role, the reputation and the story you tell about yourself lies what is actually alive in you. We go there with curiosity, starting in the body and the heart before the mind: inner work before outer work.

02

Trust

Becoming fully seen

From “Me” to “I”.

It takes courage to be seen without the armour of the role. In a room that can hold it, the performed “Me” gives way to the real “I”, and you learn that you can return to the depths again and again.

03

Transformation

Light and shadow, without shame

From “I” to “We”.

Every life holds light and shadow. Here both are met without shame, with nothing to conquer. What we carried alone grows lighter once it is shared: the “I” finds itself in a “We”, and change becomes a freedom we find together.

04

Belonging

Exchanging “Pursuit of Happiness” with “Aliveness”

From “We” to “All”.

The pursuit of happiness keeps us chasing the next thing; aliveness asks us to be fully here. Depth was never meant to be walked alone. Held in compassion, it widens from you to the people around you, and on to the world.

An instrument of my own

A growth assessment built for leaders, not the lab

Leaders don’t only gain skills; they grow through stages of development, each a wider way of making sense of themselves, others and the world. Adult-development research is among the most useful knowledge a leader can have. Yet it rarely reaches leaders: it sits in academic instruments, written in language no working leader speaks.

So I built my own, the Conscious States of Leadership Profile (CSLP): refined over years, taken by thousands, in the language a leader actually recognises. Suitable for individuals or teams, with optional 1:1 or team coaching afterwards.

What it maps

  • Distribution across states
  • Growing edge
  • Blind spots
  • Next step
